My Experience

I have led some of the most amazing Marketing Teams, most recently as Head of Marketing at Combe, Inc and previously, VP of Marketing at Church & Dwight with oversight of a $400MM P&L. Prior to these companies, I held leadership roles running brands at Carter Wallace and American Home Products and started my career in cosmetics marketing at Revlon and La Prairie. My reputation as a brand innovator and team developer has been earned and learned with some of the best brands and brand groups. I’ve also had the privilege to work on over 40 M&A opportunities over the years, with many moving from exploration to due diligence to integration. All of my experience will help drive breakthrough results for you as we determine what’s next for your business.

CAREER HIGHLIGHTS
  • Rejuvenated a stagnant 50 year old brand and achieved double digit growth by targeting a new consumer group with new products, line extensions and updated marketing/advertising.

  • Defended and grew Combe’s flagship Just For Men Brand when a major competitor (L’Oreal) entered the market.

  • Built strong and sustainable inter-agency teams, including advertising and digital agencies, media agency, PR agency, internal creative and brand teams, resulting in best in class 360°advertising and marketing campaigns.

​

  • Took First Response pregnancy and fertility tests from #3 Brand with 6% Share of Market to #1 Brand with 32% Share of Market.

​

  • Contributed to 8-Figure wins as an expert witness for C&D on advertising, patent and trademark initiatives.

​

  • Launched Batiste Dry Shampoo in the US, creating a corporate vision, achieving team buy-in, developing comprehensive marketing plans, and collaborating with Sales to gain distribution taking the brand from $0 to over $75MM in first year.

​

  • Became a Women’s Health subject matter expert after running and growing many women’s health/intimate health businesses (First Response, Replens, Rephresh, Sustain Natural, Vagisil, etc.).

​

  • Created and led Marketing Excellence Training Program for over 90 C&D marketers, including monthly training, professional seminars and team building events.

​

  • Led the exploration, due diligence and integration of some major acquisitions for Combe and Church & Dwight: Astroglide and Sustain Natural; Simply Saline, Replens/Rephresh, Toppik and Batiste. 

​

  • Have vast experience presenting to boards, serving on boards (Sustain Natural, Fordham Business School), guest lecturing at Marketing undergraduate and MBA classes (NYU, Monmouth University), and judging at DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America - helping emerging leaders).
